MX7 range of racing sails are available for racing sailboats up to 80 ft. MX7 racing sails are made out of Carbon and Technora. These sails are available as a film/film (racing) or with single or double layer taffeta for offshore and endurance racing.

Designer's Note
MX7 sail membrane only uses fibre reinforcement where it is required and not where it isn't! This keeps weight to an absolute minimum without compromising the performance and durability of the sail. Because weight has been kept to a minimum, it also means that some or all of the weight savings made where reinforcement is not needed can be used to add extra reinforcement to the high-load path areas of the sail. The fibre reinforcement added to the membrane is also a continuous directional filament, which accurately follows the load path lines of the sail. Zero-crimped yarns are a must to ensure consistent translation of the design.

MX7 Membrane Surface Types
MX7 - RACING: Carbon Technora Film / Film
Top of the line racing sails in a film/ film configuration. MX7 Racing is available for modern skiffs right up to the maxi racer.

MX7 - ENDURO RACING 1T: Single Side Taffeta
Film surface on one side and Taffeta on the other: The single taffeta is the ideal choice for the offshore racer. The Taffeta adds durability and longevity while still with a great hi-tech look.
MX7 Racing Sails are guaranteed for 12 months against faulty workmanship - subject only to proper maintenance and being used in appropriate wind conditions. Regular wear and tear is not covered.
