Gennakers are designed for the cruising sailor who
wants to bring performance to his sailboat. Easy to trim
and stable to fly. A flat leech allows you to trim this
sail close to your main for better reaching while a free-flying
luff keeps the draft forward for tight wind angles. Ideal
for apparent wind angles between 60 and 90 degrees.
Our cruising gennakers are build out of 1.5 oz. nylon
or CZ laminate sailcloth depending on the designed
wind angle, boat weight and expected wind and water
conditions.
Mauri cruising gennaker is a stable and powerful sail
that will improve your close reaching speed. All Mauri
gennakers are offered with a free flying furling unit
(recommended) for simple hazzle-free hoisting and dousing.
