Detailing
We use heavy-duty, fiberglass battens for longer sail life. Details, such as
batten end closures, feature easy adjustment and extra chafe protection are
with in specs for cruising. Every Mauri Sail is built to endure and to perform
in a wide wind range of wind and sea conditions.
Reinforcing
Long reinforced patches that will take the high-loads of the head, tack, and
clew. Our sailmakers reinforce wear-and-tear areas around the batten pockets,
slides, and reef points. Reinforcements around hardware attachments; anti-chaffing
on seam coatings, stanchions and spreaders patches when required.
